Excellent skiing and watersports facilities are within a few minutes’ drive, and there are also opportunities for walking and cycling in addition to fishing and shooting.
Skiing
The Cainrgorm Ski Centre is around 20 minutes drive away, and offers a range of pistes to suit all abilities.
The ski season in Scotland typically runs from Christmas to April, but the climate is not such that snow can be guaranteed!

Watersports
Sailing, windsurfing, canoeing and kayaking are all on offer on Loch Morlich, which is around 15 minutes drive from the house.

Whether a family or a seasoned group of riders, the Cairngorm National Park and surrounding areas offers first class mountain biking. Enjoy the rugged scenery from the ancient Pine Forests of Rothiemurchus to the isolated Lochans. Scattered around the National Park.
There is also fantastic road biking to be enjoyed on quiet circular routes from Aviemore and you can set your distance on the groups level of fitness.
There are two very good bike shops in Aviemore where you can choose from an excellent range mountain bikes for hire to suit your level.

- Availability: all year round, for weekly lets starting on a Friday. Also available for selected weekends and midweek breaks.

- Short breaks: from £445 for 3 nights; from £545 for 4 nights.
